Episode 2 – Part Deux
June 24, 2008 - 11:10 pm
Hey, we (by which I mean “I”) made it! This is the second episode of Stationary Joystick, and it’s somehow 42 minutes long. It’s still not the greatest podcast you’ve ever heard, but I’m working on it. Here are some things I cover in this episode:
- My history of employment: Beer warehouse, e-commerce management, and video rental store.
- Short movie reviews of “10,000 BC”, “Jumper”, and “Charlie Bartlett”.
- Why I hate movie critics.
- Gagliano’s Market in Delafield.
- Sub shops: Milio’s, Jimmy John’s, Subway, Cousin’s, and Quizno’s.
Doesn’t sound very exciting? Maybe it is, maybe it isn’t. I guess you’ll have to listen and find out for yourself!

Shameless plug!
God, my dorm-supplied chair rocks (it’s like a hexagon on the bottom, so it rocks to three places basically) and I have fallen over painfully several times D=
A tie!? At a video rental store? Woah!
For a moment, I thought you meant the animated film, and I was wondering WTC you were getting so uptight about realism in an animated film for, but now I gotcha. And the answer to your question: To gather a larger potential audience.
IMDB! IMDB! Yeah, your ultimate opinion wins, but if it has a low score on IMDB, chances are you’re better off seeing something else (unless the trailer has made you enamored with the film). IMDB~♥
Quiznos tends to be better than subway/cousins for sure!
Dr! Use self-restraint! Eat every once in a while, not all the time.
Any Japanese stuff there? Ramune?
