Episode 16 – The Great Wave

May 30, 2009 - 3:44 pm 4 Comments

Episode 16 of Stationary Joystick kicks off season 2! Not that that really means anything different, at least not in this episode. It’s more or less a stream-of-conscious update on what I’ve been up to since coming home for the summer. Some show notes:

  • Some podcasting talk, of course.
  • My summer schedule and how it differs from last summer.
  • Learning to cook.
  • Finding a place to live for next year and transfer orientation.
  • The Chazen Museum of Art and Japanese woodblock prints.
  • Computer problems.

I get about the same amount of hours at my video store too. It’s interesting how easy it is to fall into the “go to bed at 2am, wake up at 11am” trap with this job.

Yeah, no kidding. It’s an occupational hazard for people in our profession. Besides that, I don’t mind working the “video store graveyard shift”; 5 pm to 12:00 pm is still better than working in the early AM.

  3. Tom Says:

What do you use to edit the podcast?

  4. David Says:

I used to use Audacity just because that was the only software I had that would recognize and record my USB audio codecs for my headset and USB mixer. Now that I’m recording the mixer through my audio card and using a portable recorder, I use Adobe Audition.
