Episode 11 – The Asian History Class

In this episode, I hate on anime kids, so I apologize if you’re one of the few anime fans who is cool and doesn’t act like they’re 12 years old (and if you’re listening to this, I’m guessing you are one of those said cool people, so good on you). Actually, that’s pretty much it in terms of content. Somehow my rant lasted just over a half hour…

  • Central Wisconsin vs. Southern Wisconsin. They’re incredibly different…actually, maybe not.
  • Fast Times at China Buffet. Still better than this podcast.
  • Inauguration. I don’t really care about politics, so I did the very least I could do.
  • My East Asian History class. A huge rant (encompassing over half the episode) about why I’m already not such a fan of that class. Anime kids ruining my shit!

You might like our anime club, dr! Lots of cool people and no one being stupid or making unintentionally bad jokes! I guess that’s to be expected of an Ivy League school, huh? I know one person who’s a little socially slow, but he’s neither an anime fan nor bad-spirited, so that’s alright I suppose.

D= ipod clicker enabled huh? annoying feature >_<

I dunno, I’m guessing that even Ivy League schools have stupid people, it’s just that they’re harder to come by than they are here.

I actually like the iPod clicking feature for some reason. It makes iPod menu surfing more satisfying.

On the topic of clicking, apologies for the clicking sound you hear throughout the episode. I was playing with a pen on my desk the entire time, and I didn’t expect it to come through as loud in the mix as it did.

Oh stupid people definitely exist, I wouldn’t argue that they dont; I was just saying I haven’t met any stupid people in our anime club.

XP I just find it annoying after like 5 seconds.

Oh no big I didn’t even notice that actually. Too busy listening to your melodious voice, I guess.

  4. David Says:

Yeah, I haven’t been to any of the Anime Club meetings here (and for some reason we have two anime clubs on campus; not sure what’s up with that) so I can’t completely vouch that they’re all annoying and socially awkward, but from what I’ve seen, they probably all are (blanket statements are cool).
