Episode 1 – Well, It Certainly Does Suck
Welcome to the reincarnation of Stationary Joystick. Hopefully this time it will go somewhere and not just die after two episodes like the original did. I will warn you in advance: This is a terrible podcast. This episode was recorded in my bedroom while I was sitting on my bed and surfing the internet. There’s a lot of pauses, “ums” and “uhs”, and weird timbre changes in my voice resulting from me moving around while talking. Still, I’m posting it up in hopes it will keep me motivated to keep putting out episodes. Here are some topics I covered:
- The origins and history of my involvement in podcasting.
- Plugs for Twinkie Beyond and Three Guys Walk Into a Bar.
- How my mind works when it wanders.
- My trip to Germany, and Bill’s trip to Japan.
- Foreign languages: A rant supporting a stance everyone listening to this probably already supports.
Hopefully you stick around, because I’m sure it only goes up from here in terms of quality. Hit me up with some love/feedback if you feel like it. Thanks!

Talking does require practice!
Yeah, your friend’s flash video prediction got owned.
Also its gesticulating, and I think you said something else…
Yay for podcasting about podcasting!
Relaxed trips are better, no?
Evening classes suck! >_<
But North Koreans speak Communist!!!
Yeah, I get the same about the ambition, but ehhh. I’m taking Japanese next semester, so suck it up and go for it!
We should start our own podcast, soon!
